She wanted to provide same-day appointments, affordable testing and clear fees to support new users of private healthcare and to support patients who needed services unavailable on the NHS. In a world where getting a GP appointment can take weeks and virtual consultations with insurers often fall short, we offer something refreshingly direct: experienced doctors, proper in-person assessments, same-day access, and clear follow-up, all without long waits or complicated processes. Walk-in Clinic was founded in 2008 by Dr Enam Abood, who envisioned convenient and accessible private healthcare. At the time, accessing private healthcare was arduous and expensive.
