GP Land (gpland.co.uk) is a private GP directory service operated by Artesial Ltd (Registered No. 790329). We are not a healthcare provider, clinic, or medical practice. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Our platform helps patients find and compare CQC-verified private GP practices across England. All medical consultations and services are provided directly by the listed practices or by our partner providers, not by GP Land.

2. Our Role vs. Healthcare Providers

GP Land is a directory and referral service. We do not employ doctors, nurses, or any healthcare professionals. We do not operate clinics or provide medical services.

When you contact a practice through our directory, or when you book a consultation through one of our partner referral links, you are entering into a direct relationship with that healthcare provider, not with GP Land.

• GP Land: Provides directory listings, search functionality, and referral links.
• Listed Practices: Provide medical consultations, diagnoses, and treatments. They are separately regulated by the CQC and GMC.
• Partner Providers: Some referral links on our site connect you to third-party healthcare platforms (e.g., online GP services). These providers operate under their own CQC registration and terms.

3. Partner Referrals (ThanksDoc)

GP Land partners with ThanksDoc to offer online private GP consultations. When you click a "Book a private GP" button on our site, you are redirected to ThanksDoc's secure platform to complete your booking.

Important points about this partnership:

• Separate Service: The consultation is provided by ThanksDoc, not GP Land. ThanksDoc operates under its own CQC registration and clinical governance.
• Data Handling: Any personal or medical information you submit on ThanksDoc's platform is handled under their privacy policy and data protection practices, not ours.
• Referral Tracking: Booking links may include a referral code (e.g., ref=gp-land) so ThanksDoc knows you came from GP Land. This helps us track the partnership but does not affect your care or pricing.
• No Medical Liability: GP Land is not responsible for the quality, outcomes, or conduct of any consultation booked through a partner link. All medical questions, complaints, or concerns should be directed to the provider who delivered the service.

4. For Patients (Users)

No Medical Advice on This Site

The information on GP Land is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical concerns.

Emergency Situations

Contacting Practices

When you contact a practice through information found on GP Land, your communication is directly with that practice. GP Land does not intermediate, monitor, or store your medical conversations with practices.

5. For Healthcare Providers

Listing Accuracy

By claiming or submitting a listing, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up to date. You are responsible for maintaining your listing details, including contact information, services offered, and pricing.

CQC Registration

All practices listed on GP Land must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We reserve the right to remove any listing that cannot be verified against official CQC records.

Content Responsibility

Claimed practice profiles are managed by the practice owner. GP Land does not write, edit, or verify the clinical content of claimed profiles, though we may review them for compliance with our editorial policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on GP Land, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and database compilations, is the property of Artesial Ltd or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish directory listings without written permission.

Practice logos, images, and descriptions submitted by claimed practice owners remain their property, but they grant GP Land a licence to display this content on our platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GP Land and Artesial Ltd shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the website
• Any medical services received from a listed practice or partner provider
• Any interactions or disputes between patients and listed practices
• Any inaccuracies in practice listings (though we strive to keep them correct)

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
